Given the rising global concern over counterfeit pharmaceutical medications, this paper proposes a solution using blockchain technology to verify the legitimacy of these products. The fundamental decentralized and secure properties of blockchain enhance transparency and traceability throughout the drug supply chain. The system uses smart contracts to manage interactions between stakeholders, providing a secure and efficient way to validate drug authenticity. By implementing unique QR codes generated by manufacturers, essential drug information is recorded on the blockchain, assisting smooth tracking from production to distribution. This method greatly reduces the risk of counterfeit drugs entering the market. The research analyzes various blockchain architectures, emphasizing the importance of transparency, security, and scalability in the pharmaceutical industry. Finally, the paper aims to enhance the safety of pharmaceutical products, minimize manual processes, and encourage trust among stakeholders.
