A systems programming language, Rust has been gaining popularity with its ability to write high performance web applications leveraging a special combination of both memory safety and asynchronous concurrency. Using Rust's novel features like ownership and borrowing with explicit lifetimes a developer can build secure and efficient web service. Prioritizing the prevention of common coding errors such as null pointer dereferencing helps to leverage correct application performance. This study looks at Rust's unique capabilities and embeds them within its web frameworks such as Actix Web, Rocket, Axum, and Warp for building secure and scalable web applications. Memory safety, asynchronous concurrency, and ecosystem support provided by Rust are clearly elaborated in order to demonstrate Rust's competent modern web development requirements. A case study on a real-time chat application shows how Rust can efficiently handle thousand connections concurrently with less latency, emphasizing Rust's promise to drastically change the web development model in light of safety, performance, and scalability.
