Smart sensing applications span a diverse range of industries and domains, utilizing advanced sensor technologies and data-driven methodologies to monitor, analyze, and automate various processes. To enhance transmission reliability, particularly in dynamic and unpredictable environments, the use of redundant data transmission is commonly employed. However, to address challenges related to energy efficiency and fairness, it is essential to manage and constrain the transmission of redundant data in a controlled manner. In this paper, we propose a novel transmission mechanism designed for data acquisition in smart sensing applications. Numerical analysis demonstrates the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed mechanism in such applications.
