Python-Powered Set Operation

Atharva Haresh Saraf, Susanta Das · 2025

This chapter shows the development, implementation, & evaluation of comprehensive desktop-based software tool engineering using Python to facilitate an array of set operations. Software furnishes users with a versatile platform for conducting fundamental set manipulations (e.g., union, intersection, computation, difference, symmetric different, power set generation, & Cartesian product computation). It features a user-friendly interface with input fields for two sets with clearly labelled buttons for each operation. This design aims to make the software easy to use for everyone, from beginners to experts, enhancing accessibility and user satisfaction. Through judicious utilization of python functions skillfully designed to capture the complexities of each set operation, it ensures seamless execution and expedient delivery of precise results in real-time. Algorithms supporting each operation are thoroughly explained, clarifying underlying computational methods & theoretical foundations. Its effectiveness & usefulness are rigorously assessed.
