The Face Recognition Attendance System is an innovative solution developed to automate and make attendance tracking much easier in educational institutions and workplaces. The system recognizes people with face recognition efficiently using Python, Flask, OpenCV, and Firebase, and records attendance real-time. Users can upload images to the database for easy face matching at the time of attendance checking, thus maintaining accuracy and eliminating errors caused by a human eye. Teachers can access the records of attendance with secure login. Multi-class management is supported and this system is integrated with Firebase to enable efficient storage and retrieval of data. Use of advanced algorithms like DeepFace and FaceNet will support robust face detection, alignment, and recognition. It comes with high flexibility due to real-time updations and user-friendliness along with open-source adaptability, and hence, this system is based on leading-edge machine learning and computer vision technologies together that makes it an effective and reliable alternative to conventional attendance methods, hence looking for improvement in productivity and accountability.
