The rapid proliferation of cloud-integrated IoT systems has introduced unprecedented opportunities for innovation and automation, but it also presents unique security challenges due to their distributed, heterogeneous, and resource-constrained nature. This chapter proposes a comprehensive Network Security Governance Framework tailored for cloud-integrated IoT environments to address these challenges systematically. The framework leverages a multilayered approach, integrating advanced security policies, automated threat detection mechanisms, and compliance monitoring to ensure robust protection against evolving threats. Key components include a governance model for defining roles and responsibilities, a risk assessment module incorporating real-time analytics, and a unified orchestration layer for enforcing security policies across IoT devices and cloud infrastructures. The framework is validated through a case study involving a smart healthcare deployment, demonstrating its effectiveness in mitigating security breaches and ensuring regulatory compliance. This work provides a foundational step toward building resilient, secure, and scalable cloud-integrated IoT systems for critical applications.
