Real estate is one of the most profitable assets in the world because it has advantages or significant impacts in the broader community, such as financial security, capable investment opportunities, economic stability, and growing the economy by empowering welfare and individual or corporate ownership through its transaction activities. But behind all these advantages, real estate transactions often face challenges such as high costs, lack of transparency and dependence on third parties. These problems will spread to other aspects, such as inefficient transactions because of the many entities that want to contribute, document falsification due to lack of transparency and disputes that can damage trust between stakeholders. Therefore, maintaining the security and validity of transaction documents is very much needed to minimize existing problems. To overcome these problems, applying blockchain technology in real estate transactions was proposed to create a safer, more transparent and efficient system. With blockchain's decentralized and immutable nature, it can overcome dependence on third parties and the problem of fraud risk. Supported by smart contracts and tokenization, blockchain enables the automation of transaction processes, thereby reducing costs, increasing speed, and strengthening trust at every transaction stage which can be more efficient and reliable.
