The leader-following group consistency for multi-agent systems featuring smart leaders is thoroughly investigated in this paper. In this intricate and dynamic system structure, the group consensus mechanism allows the agent within each subgroup to quickly reach a consistent state through local information exchange, which greatly facilitates collaborative behaviour within the subgroups. At the same time, the smart leader, as the pivotal core role, is able to perceive and process the feedback information from each subgroup in real time, and provide more accurate and timely guidance to the followers by dynamically adjusting its own behaviour and decision-making. In terms of implementation, a novel and innovative control algorithm and conditions are proposed, which ensure that the system is capable of achieving group consensus under certain conditions, and the smart leader can effectively coordinate decision-making among different groups. Through extensive and rigorous simulation experiments and theoretical analyses, the validity and advantages of the proposed method are definitely and convincingly confirmed in this article.
