The rapid advancement of technology enables the healthcare sector to implement intelligent and secure solutions across many healthcare services. Medical data encompasses extensive personal information and is quite sensitive regarding privacy. The growing volume of healthcare data necessitates the secure and correct storage of medical information. Nonetheless, contemporary medical information is vulnerable to privacy breaches and is challenging to disseminate. A healthcare information security and storage solution utilizing Hyperledger fabric and an attribute-based access control architecture is presented for implementation. The technique initially employs an attribute-based access control method, facilitating dynamic and granular access to medical information, and subsequently maintains the medical data on a secure blockchain. Blockchain technology is a decentralized chain of blocks that stores data in a noncorruptible, immutable, highly secure manner, ensuring high data integrity. The consensus process and Byzantine fault tolerance algorithm were also incorporated, which improves the IoT data security and speed of the transaction. The nodes connected in a distributed system improve the consensus efficiency and store the secured data in edge nodes.
