DIGITALIZAÇÃO DO COMÉRCIO EXTERIOR: APLICAÇÕES DE BLOCKCHAIN E IOT NO BRASIL

Danillo da Silva dos Santos, Julio Cesar Molon Bevilaqua · Revista fisio&terapia. · 2025

This article examines the adoption of blockchain and Internet of Things technologies in Brazilian foreign trade, mapping current advances, challenges, and opportunities. Through documentary research and analysis of institutional reports, including CNI and academic articles, the study demonstrates the current adoption rate of blockchain by Brazilian companies; its practical applications in agribusiness and port operations; and persistent implementation barriers related to infrastructure and regulatory gaps. The findings reveal that digital transformation is strategic for Brazil's international competitiveness, requiring comprehensive public policies to address three critical obstacles: technological fragmentation, high implementation costs for SMEs, and outdated legal frameworks. The study provides both an updated diagnostic of the current landscape and practical recommendations for policymakers and industry stakeholders.
