P. Vishnu Kumar, V. Ganesh Chandra, K. Ganesh, K. Shiva Kumar, K. Jayadeep · 2025

This paper presents a sensor-based gaming system that enhances interactivity by leveraging the ESP32 microcontroller and ultrasonic sensors to enable real-time motion-based control. Traditional gaming interfaces, such as buttons and joysticks, often limit user immersion, whereas IoT-integrated systems offer a more intuitive and engaging experience by directly translating physical movements into gameplay actions. The proposed system utilizes WebSocket communication to ensure low-latency data transmission between the sensors and the gaming application., enabling seamless and responsive gameplay. To evaluate its effectiveness., the system is tested on key performance metrics., including latency., accuracy., and user engagement. The results demonstrate its potential to enhance interactive entertainment by providing an affordable, modular, and highly responsive alternative to conventional gaming controls.
