Nidhi Gupta, Neeta Singh · 2025

Internet of Things (IoT) represents the future of developing countries and networking technology, by integrating advanced communication protocols, automation, and data analytics to get better efficiency, reliability, and capabilities of various systems. IoT refers to adaptive and highly automated systems designed to manage intricate communication environments. By leveraging modern technologies, these networks boost efficiency, reliability, and scalability, all while minimizing human intervention. Despite their powerful capabilities, IoT networks face several challenges, including issues related to scalability, interoperability, reliability, energy efficiency, security, and privacy. Among these, security remains a primary concern. There are various technologies like block chain, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and fog computing etc which are being used for enhancing security and privacy in Smart Networks. The focus of this research paper is to investigate security challenges within smart networks based on IoT networks and to propose a framework to enhance security and privacy of smart networks by developing authentication scheme and detecting anomalies using Machine Learning Technique.
