Measuring Interaction with Multimodal Data

Zhongxiang Chen · 2025

Human robot interaction can comprise different aspects: physical, social and cognitive. During such diverse interactions, a variety of physiological, psychological and behavioural measures may be of interest, giving rise to the need for multimodal measurements. In this chapter, we provide a case study describing a multimodal data collection experiment focusing on physical human-robot interaction, investigating human gait adaptation to a wearable passive exoskeleton.
