The demand for secure, transparent, and tamper- resistant voting mechanisms has increased in the wake of growing concerns over electoral fraud, impersonation, and data breaches. This paper presents a novel Smart Voting System leveraging dual-layer authentication using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and biometric fingerprint verification. The system is designed to authenticate voters through their unique RFID cards and biometric identities, thereby preventing unauthorized access and ensuring each vote is cast only once. Votes are encrypted and securely stored in a centralized cloud- based platform, enabling real-time monitoring and result verification. Furthermore, the system incorporates blockchain- inspired data integrity concepts for immutable vote records. The proposed architecture significantly enhances transparency, reduces manual intervention, and supports remote voting through constituency mapping. This approach not only modernizes the electoral process but also ensures data confidentiality, integrity, and ease of access for voters and election administrators alike.
