Mohammad Emad Arafah, Abedal-Kareem Al-Banna, Ahmad Aladawi · 2025

This chapter discussed cybersecurity and digital transformation's impacts on evolving challenges over protecting digital assets and infrastructure fitting for innovation. It studies changing the cybersecurity environment through rapid technological development, which affects threat detection, risk control, and security architecture. Emerging protection strategies for cloud environments, IoT ecosystems, and critical infrastructure are included in this chapter, which considers the implications of artificial intelligence and machine learning in defensive and offensive security operations. Studies in this area have consistently demonstrated that several real-world cases offer frameworks for implementing resilient security controls that address technological changes while keeping operations efficient. This chapter can attract research attention, including security practitioners, technology leaders, and decision-makers who would benefit from this chapter regarding the balance between security needs and innovation in an increasingly interconnected digital ecosystem.
