Feasibility of Employing Logistic Drones

Drones used for airborne deliveries make headlines, but the fastest rate of adoption has been in warehouses. In the US, warehousing accounts for thirty percent of logistical expenses. The competition for effective warehouse operations has increased due to the growth of e-commerce, increased customer service expectations from retail establishments, and a labor scarcity. This happens at a time when technological life cycles are becoming shorter. The purpose of this research is to present a framework that will help supply chain decision-makers decide whether to invest in new robots technology by integrating several theoretical adoption.
