Currently, the majority of government, commercial, social, cultural and economic activities and interaction among nations, at every level, including those of individuals, non-governmental groups, governments, and governmental institutions are done out in cyberspace. The number of internet users has significantly increased. In recent times, cyber-attacks have become a threat for government Institution and private companies. Cyber-attack is done using computer and network and preventing cyber-attacks on our data is very challenging. In fact, machine learning can also be used to identify and reduce the cyber-crime. The goals of this research would be to critically review the progress made in the area of cyber security and to address the challenges, advantages, and disadvantages of the recommended strategies. In addition to historical developments and early cybersecurity initiatives, standard security frameworks are analyzed. Furthermore, current threats to security, developing trends in cyber security, and latest developments are also discussed. The thorough review study that has been offered is anticipated to be helpful to internet users, IT and cyber security researchers.
