The medical supply chain (MSC) is a medical business that requires connecting suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, healthcare providers, and patients to ensure a steady supply of safe and effective medicine. It is not only important to deliver the product to the right place but also to track its survivability at different physical environment parameters such as temperature, humidity, etc. MSC faces several problems like fraud, counterfeiting, traceability, and ineffective ways of transportation. This paper aims to provide a transparent, secure, and trackable system by the use of blockchain technology and IoT. Some types of medicines require to be maintained at a certain temperature for their survival like antibiotics, insulin, vaccines, etc. For these types of medicine, we set the required parameter of temperature at the start of the supply chain. The Bosch BME680 sensor is used for real-time temperature monitoring and is integrated with EVM-based smart contracts. Data from the temperature sensor is transmitted securely to the blockchain for storage or smart contract execution. The proposed model ensures the authentication of medical products and traces their suitability at different environmental parameters.
