Converging Realms: Exploring the Intersection of the Internet of Everything (IoE) and the Internet of Metaverse (IoM)

The emergence of Metaverse, is regarded as the future of the internet and the next invention of digital experiences, often known as ‘NextG’ or ‘Web 3.0’. The theory of the IoM embodies a vision of a digital realm that is more interconnected, immersive, and interactive that goes beyond the traditional web. The 10E and IoM are interconnected as they build on each other and form a strong digital ecosystem that provides an immersive digital experience. Through integrating technologies for instance, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Blockchain (BC), the IoM can modernize education, commerce, communication, entertainment, and many more domains. IoM facilitates a seamless fusion of physical and virtual realms, permitting users to interact with digital environments and objects while actively interacting with others in real time. IoM aims to offer a transformative digital space that enables individuals to create, explore, engage, express, and connect in an unimaginable environment that feels real. Despite the emergence of IoM, it introduces new challenges and potential security and privacy threats to users that must be addressed.
