Integrating Spring Boot with Cloud Services for Scalable Java Applications with the test results of AI Implementation

Anbarasu Aladiyan · 2024

As cloud computing continues to mature, aligning Spring Boot with cloud services is one of the strongest options for creating powerful, scalable Java applications. This paper focuses on strategies and best practices for using Spring Boot in the cloud to achieve excellent performance, scalability, and continuous availability. Cloud services provide an efficient solution to manage infrastructure, it could be wrong to adapt enterprise applications for these platforms. Spring Boot is famous for simplifying the development of stand-alone, production-grade Spring-based Applications and provides a robust, comprehensive framework that can easily work with the available cloud-based services. Introduction Spring Boot internally associates a few core concepts which simplifies application setup & deployment cycle and reduces the boiler plate/ configuration entry making it a light weight application development package. The paper starts with an overview of what cloud computing is; the essential principles of cloud computing are then surveyed; the principal ideas identified include Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). It then provides an in-depth view into Spring Boot architecture and how it follows cloud-native principles like microservices architecture, containerization and CI/CD.
