Edge computing applications in the visual assistance industry

In an era of rapid development in information technology, edge intelligence, as an emerging computing paradigm, has a wide range of application scenarios, particularly in the field of visual assistance. This study aims to explore the application of edge computing in visual assistance technology. The specific methods include optimizing application algorithms to reduce the delay and bandwidth occupation of data transmission. Experimental results indicate that edge computing has significant advantages over traditional cloud computing in terms of real-time performance and bandwidth utilization, effectively meeting the low-latency requirements for processing large-scale visual data. The improved model shows enhancements in both real-time processing capability and accuracy, demonstrating higher efficiency of edge intelligence in visual assistance applications. In summary, edge computing possesses extensive application potential and significant advantages in the visual assistance industry, providing more effective visual assistance solutions for individuals with disabilities.
