This paper presents a circuit design and an implementation of a quad-channel programmable bipolar voltage driver for generic space applications. The driver is capable of generating up to +/- 10 Volts. To achieve this high-voltage operation, a specific AMS h35b4 0.35-μm HV-CMOS 4 Metal technology is used. The programmable driver contains the control circuit, 8-bit DAC and high-voltage operational amplifier. In this paper, a CS-DAC topology is used, it comprises of two sub-blocks, binary weighted & thermocoded DAC. This DAC has been segmented as 4 + 4, to achieve the maximum value of differential non-linearity is +/- 0.3 LSB at 27°and the maximum value of integral non-linearity is +/-0.02 LSB at 27°which is close to the optimal DAC performance. It is followed by high voltage OpAmp, with 76.37dB AOL &72.152°phare margin. The proposed programmable driver has an average power of 6.7 mW and voltage range from -10 to +10 Volts. The HV ASIC of voltage driver chipset occupies a die area of 2.6 mm × 2.0 mm in total including pads (core active area of 1.2 mm × 0.8 mm excluding pads).
