The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) generates heterogeneous data, which are difficult to analyze. Legal aspects of permissibly handling IIoT data derived through privacy-constrained data sources also encumber investigation. A lateral analysis of digital forensic processes for IIoT is presented.
