Hardware-based communication technologies

Kazım Duraklar · 2025

Rapid advancements in communication technologies enhance the efficiency of law enforcement and other security units. The key technologies used include radio communications, mobile devices, data communication, GPS tracking, video and image transmission, data encryption, and integrated communication centers. Narrowband communication systems offer long-range, energy-efficient signal transmission with strong penetration, often used in Internet of Things (IoT), smart agriculture, and healthcare services. Broadband communication technologies provide high-speed internet access and large data transfers. Long term evolution (LTE) networks enable low-latency and high-speed data transfer, making them ideal for mobile applications and large-scale operations. Türkiye Askeri ve Sivil İletişim Sistemi (TAFICS) Projects create strategic communication networks to meet the integrated communication needs of military and civilian operations. Secure voice over internet protocol (VoIP) phones enable secure voice communication over the internet, while jamming systems protect signals by disrupting or manipulating them.
