The attacks on endpoint devices are increasing at a higher pace than ever. Network connections on a large scale are on the upswing due to the rise in online activities like network transactions and work from home. The deployment of software agents, large language models, simulated virtual environments, and the Internet of Things possess several critical issues including cybersecurity and endpoint security of the metaverse. Due to privacy concerns, security issues, authentication, and identity, further research is urgent in terms of metaverse adoption and metaverse endpoint security. This study evolves in securing the endpoints in the metaverse including network devices and network applications. The complex network of servers, a combination of several virtual environments, relies on core technologies like edge computing, blockchain technology, augmented reality, human–computer interfaces, and others—the need for endpoint security is primary at least to reduce business costs and operate business today. We have also proposed the metaverse Endpoint Security Model and Blockchain Security Framework in the metaverse with security trends and analysis in the metaverse endpoint security.
