A ChatGPT-powered Prompt Engineering Framework for Generating Software Acceptance Criteria

There has been a growing interest in using Natural Language Processing (NLP), such as OpenAI's ChatGPT for software engineering tasks, including requirements engineering, software design and software testing. This paper introduces a novel prompt engineering framework that aims to utilize ChatGPT for the generation of high-quality acceptance criteria in the software development process, particularly in the implementation and maintenance stages, by using curated prompts and inputs. The paper describes the development and possible implementation of the proposed framework.
