This paper presents an innovative biometric door locking system that incorporates dual authentication techniques: fingerprint and face recognition, along with a keypad for password entry. Leveraging the real-time processing capabilities of Arduino, the system enhances access control and user convenience across various settings. The combination of biometric modalities strengthens security by mitigating risks of unauthorised access. The seamless integration of components such as sensors, actuators, and communication modules facilitates its application in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. The system grants authorised access to the house by remotely controlling the door lock upon successful authentication, providing robust user identification and efficient access management. Rigorous testing has confirmed its consistency and reliability under varying conditions, such as different lighting environments and user variations. This versatile and adaptable system supports future enhancements, making it a leading choice for contemporary home security challenges by delivering reliable and efficient access control with multi-factor authentication.
