This chapter focuses on the possibility of improving security and surveillance through the adoption of AI driven drones across different fields. It continues with the illustration of deployment and use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with integration of artificial intelligence to respond to security issues and to help in processing real time information and surveillance. In the chapter, a number of application areas are discussed, such as military, law enforcement, private business ventures and disasters. Drones, due to Artificial Intelligence, have brought the improvements in surveillance and intelligence in the defence operations in present warfare. Police with drones that contain artificial intelligence is making policing and subsequently, public safety possible through surveillance and monitoring. The private sector has also incorporated the use of the AI-operated drones in offering security to the corporations in their observation of the physical properties.
