Node Localization (NL) is a crucial aspect in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) and is essential for several applications, including environmental monitoring and industrial automation. Accurate node localization (NL) is critical for many WSN applications to precisely estimate the spatial placement of sensor nodes. In this paper, we propose and analyze a range-based node localization scheme for WSNs. Our scheme employs a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) to estimate the placements of sensor nodes inside the network field. This paper conducts a detailed performance analysis using simulations to evaluate the accuracy, scalability, and energy efficiency of the proposed localization technique under 18 environmental circumstances and network topologies. Our results illustrate the usefulness of the system in attaining exact node localization while limiting the effects of factors such as measurement noise, interference, and node mobility. The findings given in this paper contribute to furthering the knowledge and deployment of effective localization strategies in WSNs, consequently helping the development of dependable and high-performance WSN applications.
