Reward based funding using blockchain

Reward-based funding is a type of funding in which individuals contribute funds to a campaign. In exchange some reward is given to contributors. The rewards can include early access to products, exclusive merchandise, or recognition. The platform helps creator to create the campaign and get the funds. Some challenges occur as the number of user increases. The challenges are risk of fraud, security issues, and high fees. Blockchain technology can be used to solve some of these challenges. The paper proposes reward-based funding, which uses Blockchain and Interplanetary File System (IPFS) technology. It increases trust and transparency between the creators and the contributors. Smart contracts help to automate the required processes. Promised reward are converted into digital token which is stored on the blockchain. The token shows the ownership to the specific reward.
