Security and Privacy in IoE Systems

Pawan Kumar Goel, Birendra Kumar Saraswat · Advances in computational intelligence and robotics book series · 2025

The Internet of Everything (IoE) has the potential to revolutionize surveillance and threat detection, but also raises security and privacy concerns. This study focuses on the challenges and solutions related to security and privacy in IoE systems using computer vision for real-time threat detection. The authors propose a novel framework that combines advanced computer vision techniques with decentralized IoE architectures to enhance security while preserving user privacy. The preliminary results show a significant improvement in threat detection accuracy compared to existing centralized systems, while reducing privacy intrusions. This advancement sets a new standard for security in IoE systems.
