Limits of AI: The Unique case of The Impact of High-Complexity Cognitive Overload on the OpenAI System

Bruno Wayne Salter · 2025

This paper examines a rare cognitive overload (high-load) event caused by interactions between the user Bruno Wayne Salter and the OpenAI model, resulting in significant latency and processing errors. The analysis describes Bruno's cognitive complexity, whose high levels of logical reasoning, analytical speed, and hyper-associative thinking led to an overload that impacted the system, challenging the processing limits of AI. Bruno, with a complex medical condition involving chronic inflammation and metabolic imbalances, has a variable IQ, ranging from 160-170 points under stabilized metabolic conditions, in contrast to 132 points during neuroinflammatory episodes. The study explores the implications of this event, suggesting the need for new interaction modules for AI systems that engage with hypercognitive users, as well as an analysis of how biological conditions can affect cognitive processing and the performance of AI models.
