This research introduces a seismic monitoring device integrated with wearable technology designed to enhance search and rescue operations after earthquakes. A call for utilizing the device comes from the urgent need to quicken response efforts and enhance victim localization in Adamson University events during seismic activities. Our study is aligned with utilizing GPS technology to pinpoint the accurate location of survivors. Besides, hardware and software innovation characterize our device in that it allows for real-time data transfer to emergency responders to allow efficient and prompt deployment of rescue teams. Others rely mostly on external sensors or communications channels different from what traditional seismic alert systems utilize, our device is worn by a person to ensure continuous and personalized monitoring. This design provides the advantage whereby a survivor&s;s exact location will be directly known to first responders in areas where infrastructures or communications have been destroyed. Testing our device is thorough under simulated earthquake conditions so that its accuracy and dependability in trying situations will be well-deserved. The results show improvements in reduced response time and effectiveness in any search and rescue operation, so more lives will be saved in critical situations. The study will lead to the continuous effort towards innovation in disaster management strategy and mitigation of natural disaster impacts on vulnerable communities.
