Hospital bills are often confusing for patients. This paper explores how blockchain technology can transform billing for admitted patients by making it transparent. Blockchain's secure, shared ledger system would record all billing transactions permanently and immutably. This eliminates errors and empowers patients with clear information about their charges. The paper will discuss the benefits of this approach, including enhanced security, verifiable transaction history, and greater patient control over their billing data. Blockchain's cryptography safeguards patient data and billing details, minimizing the risk of unauthorized access or alteration. All transactions are permanently recorded on the blockchain, providing a tamper-proof record for audits and dispute resolution. Patients gain control over their billing data, allowing them to access and understand their charges easily.
