Research on Piano Pedals Teaching and Training

In piano teaching, pedal teaching and training is an important means of expanding musical expression, a technical demand for realizing tone control, and a necessary link for promoting polyphonic music understanding. Teachers should follow the principles of gradual and step-by-step training, personalized adaptation according to materials, and auditory perception-guided operation; they should strengthen the basic and advanced skills by layered training method, enhance the sensitivity of the pedal by auditory feedback mechanism, and practice the classical repertoire by combining with modern digital tools. Thus, the innovative development of pedal teaching and training in piano teaching should be promoted.
