Excerpt: "A flagship Oxford University Press (OUP) journal is to go open access from January 2005, and it could soon be followed by others. Nucleic Acids Research (NAR) may well be the first of a series of OUP titles to adopt OA, which the publisher is now making strategic moves to explore.
