Attribute-Based Encrypted Phrase Search Scheme in the Cloud

Searchable attribute-based encryption enables data users to conduct search operations on encrypted information, while regulating access rights based on the attributes of the searchers. However, existing searchable attribute-based encryption schemes lack the capability for phrase search. Single-keyword searches often return many irrelevant encrypted documents, and conjunctive keyword search schemes, although they narrow the search scope, cannot support searches for specific phrases or sentences. To address this, this paper combines phrase search with attribute-based encryption for the first time without sacrificing significant performance, filling the research gap in searchable attribute-based encryption for phrase search functionality.
