IMPROVING LAND ADMINISTRATION THROUGH BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY

Many regions' land registration systems are ineffective, opaque, and susceptible to manipulation.This project offers a blockchain-based land registration system that uses IPFS (Inter Planetary File System) and Ethereum smart contracts to manage land records in a safe, decentralized, and verifiable manner.The frontend of the system is constructed with React.js, and MetaMask is integrated for secure blockchain communication and user authentication.To guarantee integrity and traceability, land documents are stored off-chain using IPFS and their associated content identifiers (CIDs) are stored on the blockchain.A transparent and reliable approval process is made possible by the implementation of admin roles for document verification.The suggested system provides a scalable way to get rid of fraud and boost confidence in property ownership by fusing decentralized storage with the immutability of blockchain technology.
