In modern warfare, multiple entities participate to use their resources effectively while enhancing the accuracy and spatial coverage of the air/ground situational picture. The entities could be a group of friendly aircraft carrying out a specific mission at specific geolocation. These entities share information with each other through a data link and can receive Intel from AWACS and/or ground radars through the data link. In every aircraft, the data received from other entities through the data link is associated and fused to obtain a common situational picture of the war scenario. In the present chapter, different fusion architectures for fusing information using a team of aircraft are provided. Ranging using a team of aircraft with passive sensors on is addressed in this chapter. Also, the issue of ghosting and anti-ghosting for passive ranging is discussed.
