Abstract The use of computerized field testing equipment and analysis techniques has greatly increased the ability to acquire, transport, interpret, update and present data. Traditional testing equipment is being supplemented by devices of greater versatility. This paper presents a variety of instances in which computer technology is used in field testing. Corrosion evaluations, cathodic protection and stray current testing discussions are included.
