The Internet of Things is a tremendous technology paradigm due to its ability to help perform intercommunication and coordination across different devices and systems. But nowadays, as the number of IoT devices and applications escalates, one of the key challenges is interoperability between heterogeneous IoT networks different devices and delivery systems that need to communicate and exchange data. This definition necessitates a protocol for standardization, be it implicit or explicit. Standardization protocols would lead to a corresponding need for seamless interoperability between heterogeneous IoT networks. This technical abstract proposes a recommendation for addressing this issue. We then discuss how standardization helps to ensure compatibility and smooth interoperation among IoT devices and systems. We also talk about the various standardization protocols in the marketplace, including MQTT, CoAP and OPC UA, and their compatibility with different IoT devices and platforms. We also discuss the challenges and limitations of deploying standardization protocols for heterogeneous IoT networks that arise due to miscellaneous, non-premium network IO and standards-protocols non-uniformity.
