Cybersecurity awareness among university students is paramount in today's digital age, where information systems play a pivotal role. This paper investigates the factors influencing cybersecurity awareness and its impact on university students. Through a comprehensive literature review and empirical analysis, this study identifies key determinants of cybersecurity awareness and examines their implications for information security education. The research method includes surveys conducted among university students to gather insights into their perceptions and practices regarding cybersecurity. The findings highlight the significance of promoting cybersecurity awareness among university students to mitigate risks and safeguard sensitive information in information systems. In summary, the study's originality stems from its focus on university students and its complete approach to studying the elements that influence cybersecurity awareness. The robust findings underline the necessity of increasing cybersecurity knowledge through education, as well known as a key factor that influences students' cybersecurity awareness and practices.
