Hate speeches in well-ordered societies and real societies

This article aims to address the subject of free speech, in particular we will work on the issue of hate speech. To achieve this purpose, we will use as a theoretical framework the work of the political philosopher John Rawls, specifically we will analyse, in a more depth way, the considerations made by Jeremy Waldron, in the book The Harm in Hate Speech, about the Rawlsian concept of well-ordered societies aiming to justify regulations on freedom of expression. Regulations that have the propose to restrict this kind of discourses and thereby ensure a more substantive democracy.
