9 – Archaeo-Statistical Analysis of Pottery for the Determination of Cultural Areas in the Site of Kota Cina

This study explores the abundant data relating to pottery from Kota Cina with the objective of highlighting its spatial distribution by sectors in order to enrich the socio-functional interpretation of the site. The pottery assemblages that make up the excavated sectors are compared according to the greater or lesser statistical proximity of the typo-technological facies. The archaeo-statistical approach adopted reveals the existence of areas that may be linked to specific populations.
