This research-based chapter examines the post-COVID impact on knowledge transfer within higher education institutions in Kazakhstan, focusing on identifying the most effective training format and the factors influencing its success among students who have experienced in-person, online, and hybrid learning environments. Following an extensive literature review on knowledge management, data was collected from 300 students in Almaty, Kazakhstan, to explore the dynamics of knowledge transfer and address related cybersecurity issues. The study reveals differing effects of each training format on knowledge transfer, with the most effective format identified, and highlights factors such as internet accessibility and student-teacher relationships as critical influences on information transfer in higher education. This research provides a unique perspective on post-pandemic knowledge transfer, evaluating the strengths, challenges, and cybersecurity needs of each learning method, and testing hypotheses to assess their effectiveness.
