The implementation of SAP GUI in multinational organizations presents significant compliance and security challenges, as regulatory standards vary across jurisdictions and directly impact technical support and software installation. Companies operating globally must ensure that their processes comply with local and international legal requirements, such as the GDPR in the European Union and the LGPD in Brazil. Additionally, cybersecurity concerns are critical, as ERP systems are prime targets for attacks that can compromise sensitive data and business operations. This article analyzes the main challenges faced by technical support specialists in the installation and maintenance of SAP GUI across multiple jurisdictions. Issues such as access control, robust authentication, continuous security patch updates, and the need for compliance with country-specific regulations are discussed. The diversity of global legislation and standards requires a strategic and flexible approach to mitigate non-compliance risks and ensure the integrity of information processed within the SAP environment. Furthermore, the research explores practical solutions to ensure international compliance in SAP GUI adoption, including strategies such as the use of secure VPNs, network segmentation, regular audits, and the implementation of strict security policies. Technical support plays a crucial role in balancing security and usability requirements, ensuring that users have efficient access to the system without compromising corporate data protection. Finally, the importance of continuous training for involved teams is emphasized to mitigate vulnerabilities and strengthen organizational resilience against compliance and digital security challenges.
