Child safety has become a significant concern in recent years, with numerous cases of children getting lost despite the care and vigilance of parents, particularly in crowded areas. Although various laws and regulations have been implemented to protect children from accidents, abuse, and other crimes, the issue persists. This paper proposes a quick-response protection system designed specifically for children, leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT) to enhance security. IoT technology, with its growing array of interconnected devices, offers new possibilities for child safety. One such innovation is the wearable child tracker, a device that is both economical and user-friendly, designed to be easily worn by children. This tracker enables parents to monitor their child’s location in real time, providing an extra layer of security, especially during outings. In the event of an emergency, the device allows for the rapid location of the child, enabling parents and caregivers to act quickly to prevent potential harm. The child tracker represents a valuable tool in the ongoing effort to reduce crimes against children, offering peace of mind and enhanced protection in everyday situations.
