C. V. Suresh Babu, S. Karuppuswamy, R. Rijairaj, A Vignesh · 2025

This chapter explores the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in music creation, focusing on its impact on genre-specific musical features and pedagogical practices. The primary objective is to examine how AI tools such as MuseNet, Soundraw, and AIVA can enhance music education by fostering creativity, improving student engagement, and addressing the challenges faced in music pedagogy. A mixed-methods approach, including case studies and surveys, was employed to gather insights from educators and students on the practical use of AI in music creation. The findings reveal that AI-driven tools offer innovative ways to enhance genre-specific musical features and improve the teaching process, although challenges related to implementation and ethical concerns remain. The chapter concludes by discussing the potential of AI to reshape music education, highlighting its contributions to both educational practices and theoretical frameworks, and offering recommendations for future research in AI integration.
