A Novel Adaptive Kuwahara Filtering for Image Enhancement

Vivek Arya, Meet Kumari, Rahul Chauhan, Shiv Ashish Dhondiyal · 2024

A new channel has been developed through improving the Kuwahara channel standard, allowing for more effective noise reduction without distorting edges or picture layout, which is useful for segmentation and other analytic operations. One of the most significant restrictions in channel calculations is describing the channel window size or the level of attention necessary for recurrent tasks. Thanks to the suggested architecture, our technique entails automatically adjusting calculations to the surrounding scenario of each pixel in the image. This paper tackles the issues of eliminating noise in digital images as well as proposes a quite efficient computer solution. Since noise and other errors can arise during image acquisition, transmission, compression, and decompression, they are a serious problem. As a result, image filtering is essential to processing images and organizing them for subsequent tasks like picture division, edge detection, or compression. Medical imaging also makes considerable use of noise reduction methods.
