This paper discusses the architecture, implementation, and evaluation of a blockchain-based chat application that relies on Ethereum's decentralized framework. This project's main objective is ensuring that message transactions are safe and transparent, without involving a central authority, increasing data privacy and lowering the risk of data breaches. The application uses Solidity for the smart contracts and Web3.js to connect the front end, marking a move toward decentralized applications (DApps).
